Chitin armor1 supported recipe route
WHY CONSIDER IT
It is an explicit upgrade step from Hide Boots in the crafting prerequisites.
When it fits: Consider after Hide Boots when chitin is available and Smithy crafting is established.
The tradeoff: Requires level 37, 15 engram points, and a Smithy; chitin is a dedicated ingredient.
