Research infrastructure that converts the selected research pack into progression.
A lab is valuable when a research objective is blocked by capacity, but its own build is distinct from producing and delivering the pack.
When it fits: Add one when the next researched capability is the actual blocker, then size pack production to the active lab count.
The tradeoff: One source recipe run makes 1 and lists 8 Wiring Kit, 4 Iron Plate, 2 Iron Gear at Fabricator; 1 recipe variant(s) for this output are grouped together. Verify access where the pack is incomplete. Construction material does not include the continuing pack supply or power needed to keep research running.
