.50-caliber Beowulf ammunition, loaded with a solid-copper 420-grain Xtreme Penetrator bullet. Developed in 2001 as a powerful short- to medium-range chambering for AR-15 style rifles, this stout cartridge had gained some popularity as a hunting round before the Cataclysm. With a blunt nose construction for better initial energy transfer, this 12.7mm-wide bullet's solid copper design allows it to punch through entry barriers while resulting in a larger wound column.
