3D printed armor for the head, made of thick polymer plates woven with metallic fibers. Despite its rough finish, it's clear that a lot of thought has gone into the ergonomics and weight. Designed to clip to some kind of attachment point, its interior reads "ATTACH TO MODULAR HEADGEAR".
