Crafting1 supported recipe route
WHY CONSIDER IT
It offers a ranged equipment path and a further listed weapon use, though crafting has a level and workbench requirement.
When it fits: Consider it when pursuing the rifle or its sawn-off form and the workbench recipe is accessible.
The tradeoff: Requires level 13 at a Workbench, a Tool kit, and several weapon parts and materials.
