A sorter completes an input/output handoff, so include it as part of the machine layout rather than counting only production buildings.

When it fits: Add one at each required transfer point in a new line.

The tradeoff: One source recipe run makes 1 and lists 1 Circuit Board, 1 Iron Ingot at Assembling Machine Mk.I / Assembling Machine Mk.II / Assembling Machine Mk.III / Re-composing Assembler; 1 recipe variant(s) for this output are grouped together. Verify access where the pack is incomplete. The machine build list does not automatically include a layout's repeated sorters; transport geometry drives the actual count.
