Giant Essence Stone
Refinery
Charges a magic tool for 40 days or can be consumed for 200 Essence.

WHY CONSIDER IT
Its long charge window makes it worth considering for sustained tool use, while its Essence value offers another use.
When it fits: Make it when a long tool-charging period or Essence reserve is the priority.
The tradeoff: Requires 80 Stone and 200 Essence; charging and consuming are competing uses.
