Minecraft Java · source & scope
Vanilla Java 26.3 deterministic crafting, stonecutting, cooking material counts and smithing upgrades. Source recipe identity, shape and ingredient choices are retained.
Object information coverage
Game banners are separate from these item illustrations. Counts describe this source version; they do not establish complete current-game coverage.
Known coverage gaps
- 157 objects have no exact native illustration mapping.
- 1,781 objects have no individual purpose/timing/tradeoff assessment.
- Item introduction history is incomplete; download dates are not used as release dates.
- Full core-family and latest-release reconciliation is incomplete; this is a versioned source library.

Catalog & calculator versions
1,814 discoverable objects and 11 families. The batch and production calculator uses the pinned version above. Newer reference inventories retain their own source version and costs in each object detail.
Introduction and meaningful-change records retain their own source evidence.
Supported scope and limits
- Java Edition 26.3 only; Bedrock, mods and user data packs are not supported.
- No gameplay comparison has been performed. Quantities use native JSON; an omitted result count is normalized to 1 and remains pending an in-game acceptance check.
- Fuel, experience, containers returned by cooking fuel, item damage, enchantments and other component state are outside material counts.
- Cooking durations are retained as source ticks in recipe notes. Actual furnace/blast furnace/smoker behavior is unverified; no production rate or seconds is asserted.
- Cake, honey-block and sugar-from-honey-bottle recipes are excluded because returned-container rules were not verified.
- Special crafting, brewing, component-bearing outputs, dyes, trims and transmutation are excluded rather than flattened into incorrect ordinary recipes.
- Tag choices follow native source order until the player selects an alternative. Block/ingot/nugget conversions can form cycles; treat a selected acquisition boundary as a leaf.
- Default acquisition boundaries keep ordinary mined/farmed resources as shopping-list leaves. Alternate recipes remain selectable. Smithing-template duplication needs a seed template and is excluded; upgrade templates are acquired separately.
