Graphite
These intermediate materials bridge raw resource extraction and finished industrial products. Their downstream use count is a source-graph planning aid, not popularity.
Plan this output ahead of projects that use it, including Diamond, Exhaust, Molten aluminum, plus other downstream targets. Its 8 recorded downstream use(s) help reveal where one stockpile can support several goals; that is a recipe relationship, not a popularity claim.
When it fits: Add it to a project when one of its listed downstream targets is on your plan; combine quantities across those targets before choosing a production run.
The tradeoff: One source recipe run makes 12 and lists 12 Chlorine, 4 Coal at Chemical plant; 3 recipe variant(s) for this output are grouped together. Verify access where the pack is incomplete.
