Materials

'solvent trap' suppressor

Materials

An automotive filter crudely adapted to mate up with a firearm's barrel, creating an illegal, unregistered suppressor. Good thing there don't seem to be any ATF agents around to arrest you. While close in design to a real suppressor, it was not designed for the high pressures involved in gunfire and will eventually lose effectiveness. The filter is large and, when attached, will interfere with your ability to aim down the base sights of the gun.

Materials

12.3ln, black powder

Materials

In some alternate universe, the 12.3ln cartridge was introduced in Romania in the wake of the second Carpathian conflict. The PA md. 71 rifle, using this ammunition, rapidly gained popularity in the Eastern Union, and from there, the world. Due to this, the 12.3ln rapidly became the standard combat round in the Eurasian sphere, making it easy for the Exodii to stockpile it in large quantities when they visited that version of Earth. It looks vaguely like a rimless, .303 British cartridge loaded with a larger, non-spitzer bullet.

Materials

5.56 NATO, black powder

Materials

5.56x45mm ammunition with a 62gr FMJ bullet containing a steel penetrator. Originally designed for the M249 FN Minimi, M855 was designed to penetrate steel helmets and light cover at range, sacrificing terminal performance and accuracy in the process. The limited yaw and fragmentation is worsened with shorter-barreled carbines shooting this round, and optimization of barrel twist for stabilization of the tracer variant of M855 has resulted in lackluster accuracy overall.

5.7x28mm, black powder

Materials

5.7x28mm ammunition with a 31gr AP FMJ bullet. The 5.7x28mm cartridge was designed by FN Herstal to replace the 9x19mm round in NATO use. Although the project to replace 9x19mm Parabellum was effectively canceled, the 5.7x28mm round has seen action in many conflicts and has proven to be reliable. It has very low recoil but lacks its usual armor penetration due to using a simple lead bullet rather than a proper factory-made penetrator projectile.
