WHY CONSIDER IT
Boards feed many useful plans, including Bee Boxes, signs, and boat equipment, so they support both base building and exploration.
When it fits: Keep a reserve once basic tools are covered, especially when expanding a base or preparing boats.
The tradeoff: Making boards ties up logs that also serve as direct building and fire materials.
