It begins a Pure path for equipment planning around the family’s damage and armor role.
When it fits: Use Duran with two Cracked Pure Embers; four Dull ones can also yield Pure Ember.
The tradeoff: Dull Pure Ember feeds either Pure or Discolored Pure recipes, so choose based on the desired tier.
