Copper

Copper supports brass and electrical or military goods, giving it strategic value when those chains are active.

When it fits: Plan a mine when brass, cables, or sea mines are part of expansion.

The tradeoff: The recorded copper mine recipe has no ingredient input; brass also needs zinc.
